What to Expect

Our friendly and engaging congregation wants to make your time with us spiritually uplifting and comfortable.  We hope this information will help to make you feel at ease.

We are delighted you have chosen to visit us.  We have special parking just for you.  The places we have reserved espeically for you are in the main parking lot (the second driveway entrance) near the church front doors.  Signs are displayed for your ease in finding convenient and open parking.

Handicapped parking is available in the main parking lot and also in the lower level parking lot near the west door entry.

Dress Code - What's That?

We want you to be relaxed and comfortable while you are here.  However, we ask that you dress with respect. Respect for yourself. Respect for others. Respect for God. Modesty never goes out of style.

Service Times

Blended Worship - 9:30 a.m.

We are excited to meet and have the opportunity to greet you.  Arriving 15 minutes prior to worship allows us time to help you find a name tag, get a bulletin, and let's you meet the Pastor, who circulates among those gathered before worship.  We have a five-minute countdown to assist everyone to know when it's time to find a seat for worship.

We hope you will join us after worship in the new Welcome Center.  We want you to have the opportunity to ask questions about our congregation and enjoy a special treat along with some coffee, tea, or hot chocolate.  The Welcome Center is just inside the front doors to your right.

Nursery and Children & Youth Activities

We are happy to provide a volunteer Nursery which is available for infants through those 4 years of age.  Sarah-Margaret, our nursery staff person, and our volunteers are happy to entertain your children in a playroom just inside the sanctuary while you take the opportunity to worship.

  • Because your children are as important to us as they are to you, we will only release your child or children from the nursery to their parents.

  • As part of our Safe Gatherings policy we don't change diapers.  If your infant requires a diaper change, we will find you in the sanctuary.

  • Our bathrooms, both men's and women's, have changing tables and we have a supply of medium sized diapers and wipes on hand for your convenience.

To Those with Young Children

  • Relax!  God put the wiggle in children; don’t feel you have to suppress those wiggles in God’s house.
  • Consider sitting toward the front where it is easier for your little ones to engage.
  • We include a special time in worship, Children's Time, just for a little ones.  Please feel free to join in.
  • Quietly explain the parts of the service and actions of the pastor, musicians, and leaders
  • Sing the hymns, pray and voice the responses.  Children learn by mimicking you.
  • If you have to leave with your child, feel free to do so but please come back.  As Jesus said, “Let the children come to me.”

Our Commitment to Children

  • The presence of children reminds us of our gift of hope for the future.
  • Children are welcome in worship to learn and grow through the experience of worship.
  • Children can feel at home in God’s house.
  • We will encourage parents with small, active children by our smiles and assistance.
