Every offering and every gift - no matter the amount - is a meaningful act of discipleship and a valued investment in the mission and ministry of the church. As United Methodists, we understand stewardship not simply as fundraising, but as a faithful response to God’s generosity and grace. We give and serve because we believe:
- Everything we have belongs to God. We are caretakers of God’s creation and channels through which God’s blessings flow.
- Stewardship is a spiritual practice. It shapes our hearts, deepens our gratitude, and keeps us connected to God and one another.
- Generosity is a means of grace. Like prayer, worship, and service, giving helps us grow in love for God and neighbor.
- Our gifts make God’s love tangible. Through our prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness, we join in God’s redemptive work in the world.
- Stilwell United Methodist Church is one of the ways God changes lives. Together, we share the good news of Jesus Christ, nurture faith, serve our community, and live out our vision to Love God, Live Love.
