serve globally. As you prayerfully discern your gift, tithe, or offering - know that Christians give through their church for many reasons, including (but not limited to) the following:

IRA Direct Contribution
You may be looking for a way to make a big difference to help further our ministries or you may be interested in a tax efficient alternative to funding your annual pledge or other gift to our church. If you are 70½ or older the IRS requires you to take a “Required Minimum Distribution – RMD”. By transferring your contribution directly from your IRA to Stilwell United Methodist Church, you can lower your taxable income from your IRA withdrawals. An IRA charitable rollover is a great way you can help SUMC continue our ministries in Stilwell and beyond.
