Music on Metcalf is a concert series that opens the doors of Stilwell United Methodist Church to the wider community, transforming our sanctuary into a warm and welcoming venue for live music. Each concert brings together artists and audiences in a setting that values creativity, connection, and the simple joy of gathering together. By hosting both local and international performers, we seek to nurture a spirit of hospitality and remind ourselves that music has the power to unite and uplift.

This is a family-friendly event, and the festive nature of the music makes it accessible for a younger audience. However, it is also a focused listening experience. We will not have childcare or nursery available, and we ask that children attending be able to engage with the performance respectfully. The event is best suited for ages five and up.

Guests are invited to arrive at 6:00 PM to enjoy coffeehouse-style refreshments. Doors to the performance space will open at 6:30 PM, and the concert will begin at 7:00 PM. Each evening features a curated lineup of musicians from a variety of genres, offering a thoughtful and uplifting night of music.

Tickets are required for entry. General admission is $20 per adult, with a reduced rate of $5 for children ages 16 and under. These funds go directly to supporting the artists and sustaining the Music on Metcalf series.

Our concert will headline Pat Byrne, an acclaimed Irish singer-songwriter now based in Austin, Texas. Byrne has received widespread praise for blending the introspective lyricism of Irish folk with the soulful grit of Americana. His 2021 album Into the Light was named a Top 10 Album of the Year by the Austin American-Statesman, and his recent work continues to draw comparisons to artists like Jason Isbell and David Ramirez.

Joining Pat is The EB3, a local jazz trio featuring Brandon Day on upright bass, Jerod Rivers on drums, and our own EB on piano. Together, they’ll perform a mix of Pat’s original music and holiday favorites (including selections from A Charlie Brown Christmas) in a performance sure to delight audiences of all ages.
