Holy Week

This Holy Week, we at Stilwell United Methodist Church extend a heartfelt invitation to our congregation and community members to join us in a journey of reflection, commemoration, and celebration. During this sacred time, we are highlighting our ecumenical relationships as a vibrant testament to God's all-encompassing love and the redemptive work of Christ. We welcome everyone to partake in these observances as a Followers of Jesus who are united in both faith and love.


  • Palm Sunday, March 24, 10 AM at Stilwell United Methodist Church - Begin Holy Week with us as we reflect on Christ's journey towards the cross and delve into the passion narrative from the Gospel of Mark. Our worship service will culminate with Holy Communion.
  • Maundy Thursday, March 28, 6 PM at Aldersgate United Methodist Church (151st/Black Bob Rd) - Lean into our denominational connectionalism with a potluck dinner at 6 PM, followed by worship at 6:45 PM. This evening promises fellowship and reflection as we remember the Last Supper.
  • Good Friday, March 29, 12:00 PM at St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church (179th/Metcalf Ave) - Join the Stilwell community at 12:00 PM for a worship service led by the clergy of Stilwell's Episcopal, Baptist, and United Methodist Churches, focusing on the Stations of the Cross.
  • Holy Saturday, March 30, 10 AM at First Baptist Church of Stilwell - Bring your family to the annual Easter Egg Hunt for a morning filled with joy, including carnival games, a photo booth, and a visit from the Easter Bunny!
  • Easter Sunday, March 31, 10 AM at Stilwell United Methodist Church - Celebrate the resurrection of Christ with a joyous and uplifting Easter service, as we come together in worship and praise.
