Pancake races are part of International Pancake Day, held on Shrove Tuesday, which in medieval Europe, was the last day of feasting before the fasting period of Lent begins on Ash Wednesday. You might be more familiar with Mardi Gras, which is French for "Fat Tuesday", coinciding with the end of the Carnival period in New Orleans.

Regardless of what your plans are for Shrove Tuesday or Lent, plan to bring your friends and family to this fun, community connection event on Tuesday, February 17, from 5 to 7pm.

We’ll see you there!
